Introduction:
In some cases, the user may want to lock down the synthesis (or place-and-route) settings before starting new jobs. For example, if InTime has produced a really good synthesis result, it may be worth locking it down.
More Information:
Right-click the desired result and select “Create Synthesis Locklist Template...”.
Use the default filename, in this case “optimize_1_job_23_synth_locklist.intime.sft”.
Next, lock down the settings by going to the Current Project > Setting Filters... menu.
Click More Actions and then select “Clear and Apply Existing Template”.
Select optimize_1_job_23_synth_locklist.intime.sft and click Open. Click Apply and then Close.
Now you can start a new job with the settings locked down.
